The project involved the development of a completely new polyurethane (PU) injector, compatible with a DESMA machine used in the footwear and injection-molded components industry. The work covered the full cycle: mechanical and hydraulic design, development of the structural model, component manufacturing, final assembly, and functional testing under real production conditions.

The injector was designed to ensure precise material dosing, uniform distribution within the mold, and optimal sealing in the injection zone. The hydraulic system was sized to provide stable pressure and fine control over injection speed, contributing to reduced filling defects and improved final product quality. Temperature- and abrasion-resistant materials were used, and the internal geometry was optimized for laminar flow and minimal material residue.

Integration with the DESMA machine included mechanical adaptation to existing mounting systems, configuration of supply circuits, and calibration of operating parameters. The final result was a robust, efficient injection system fully compatible with Almida Russia’s technological requirements, extending the machine’s capabilities and service life.
