CIP Station & KEG Line Automation
CIP Station + KEG Line – Turck PLC & HMI Automation
Cogâlnic Brewery
1 project
The project involved the full automation of a CIP station integrated with a KEG washing and preparation line, using Turck PLC & HMI technology for advanced control and real-time monitoring. The CIP system was designed to manage cleaning, rinsing, sanitization, and solution recovery sequences, ensuring consistent temperature, concentration, and flow parameters for effective hygiene.
Integration with the KEG line enabled automation of emptying, pre-rinsing, solution injection, sterilization, and final keg preparation stages, eliminating manual intervention and reducing operational errors. The Turck PLC synchronizes valves, pumps, and smart sensors, ensuring seamless continuity between CIP processes and the KEG workflow.
The HMI interface provides operators with access to recipes, cycle history, diagnostics, and real-time control, supporting efficient daily operation and predictive maintenance. Automation resulted in standardized cleaning processes, reduced resource consumption, and increased KEG line productivity, while meeting strict hygiene requirements in the brewing industry.
