Description
Supmea level transmitters are designed for continuous level measurement in industrial and utility applications. They are used to monitor the level of liquids, bulk solids, slurries, process water, wastewater, groundwater and other media in tanks, reservoirs, wells, rivers, silos and process vessels.
Depending on the application, Supmea offers different level measurement technologies. Radar level transmitters are suitable for non-contact measurement of liquids, solids and slurries. Ultrasonic level transmitters are also non-contact instruments and are commonly used for liquid or material level measurement where simple installation and maintenance are important. Hydrostatic level transmitters are used for liquid level measurement by detecting the pressure created by the liquid column.
These instruments are suitable for water treatment, wastewater systems, storage tanks, industrial process automation, utilities, chemical applications and material handling. The correct model is selected according to the medium, measuring range, tank geometry, installation position, process conditions and required output signal.
