Brewery Production Section Modernization
Reconstruction and Automation of the Brewing Section – 2 Projects
Unitank Brewery
2 projects
The projects involved the complete reconstruction and full modernization of the brewing section at Unitank Brewery through the reconfiguration of the technological process flow, replacement of critical equipment, and implementation of an advanced automation architecture based on industrial PLC and HMI systems. The scope included reorganizing process circuits for brewing, transfer, fermentation, and conditioning stages, installing new sensors for monitoring temperature, pressure, and flow, and integrating automated valves and digitally controlled pumps.
The control system was redesigned to enable centralized operation, introducing automated sequences for each stage of production—from wort preparation to fermentation and transfer to maturation tanks. The HMI interface provides intuitive process diagrams, batch history, real-time monitoring, and quick access to diagnostics, allowing technical staff to control the entire installation from a single point.
Through these two projects, Unitank Brewery achieved a significant increase in production capacity, reduced process losses, and full standardization of process parameters. The modernization brought the facility in line with current brewing industry standards, improved equipment reliability, and prepared the infrastructure for future expansion and integration with SCADA systems or advanced reporting modules.
